NovaSecta connects MidPharmas through a series of multi-company activities.

Our events are forums for company leaders and managers to share knowledge and experience, network and collaborate. As a result of our multi-company activities, many MidPharmas have set up new partnerships and collaborations with each other and third parties. Our community of MidPharmas is constantly expanding – to date more than 30 MidPharma companies have participated in our multi-company events or been consulting clients or both.

Community Activity Format
R&D Leaders Meeting
 
Initiated in 2006 as a forum for R&D executives to share experiences and learn about external collaborations.
  • Annual multi-company meeting with R&D senior managers to explore R&D issues with MidPharma peers and industry / regulatory experts.
  • Involves a networking dinner and a full day of interactive discussions.
Corporate Development Meeting:
Pharma Network
 
Initiated in 2003 for CEOs and Heads of Corporate / Business Development to connect in an informal setting.
  • Annual meeting with Heads of Corporate / Business Development from mid-sized pharmaceutical and biotech companies to discuss issues of mutual interest.
  • Involves a networking dinner and a full day of interactive discussions.
Field Trips
 
Initiated in 2007 in response to clients’ interest in exploring strategic partnerships in new regions such as China.
  • A group of delegates from mid-sized and biotech companies explore new R&D methodologies in new frontiers.
  • Involves visits to CROs, pharma / biotech companies and academia / institutes in emerging geographies e.g. China, Russia, Latvia, Brazil, Argentina.
