John leads projects to enable pharma and biotech clients to address their biggest strategic issues, with a focus on corporate and business unit strategy development, and R&D and commercial operating model improvement.
He started his career as a life sciences strategy consultant with global consulting firms, IMS Consulting Group (now IQVIA) and Charles River Associates, where he worked on a range of projects, including product and portfolio strategy, growth strategy, and commercial due diligence. At Charles River Associates, he played a major role in growing its European life sciences strategy practice, before moving to Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading independent charity dedicated to cancer research. As the Head of Research Strategy and Evaluation, he led a team to support senior leadership with strategic planning and evaluation across the charity’s research portfolio.
