A biopharma company was moving from a clinical development-focused organisation to a more commercially-focused organisation with two therapeutic area franchises. To support this transformation the organisation needed to become more outcomes-focused which required a strong and more integrated HEOR capability.
Solution
- We conducted in-depth interviews across Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Patient Advocacy, Clinical Development and Affiliates to gather perspectives on the ambition and operating model for HEOR
- We established best practices for creating a strong HEOR capability through secondary research and interviews with HEOR executives from peer companies
- We structured and facilitated a series of working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to develop the vision and priorities for HEOR, align on HEOR decision-making, and define key HEOR activities and the responsibilities for delivering them
Result
Our client built a strong HEOR capability with a clearly defined purpose, priorities, and ways of working aligned to the needs of key cross-functional stakeholders and integrated with existing evidence generation planning and governance processes.
